Well last weekend was a wet one. I cannot remember getting this much rain. Although it did make the marsh rise a little. Man were the red heads thick this year back home. We shot our limit of 4 and one is going on the wall. He is really nice. Then we had to wait and shot some widgeon before we called it a day. The next day I was able to hunt out of a boat blind with a friend of mine. It was my first time in a boat blind. I sure had a lot of fun. It was different with the boat rocking when you went to shot. I shot under quit a few birds because I was falling forward.  I did get to eat breakfast and that was like heaven. The two best things in the world put together breakfast and hunting. I was eating and two drake mallards landed in our decoys. I stood up and missed. Oh well I did have a lot of fun. We shot three teal, a woodie and a widgeon. My buddy is going to mount the wood duck and widgeon on the wall. He doesn't get to shot widgeon very often and especially a nice specimen like that. Anyway here are some pics.

Enjoy,
Jason
