Looks good guys. It was a little slow in the south end of the valley. Alot of the corn fields got cut super late because of rain so the bird are pilled up on a bunch of stuff we can't hunt. I did see a couple flocks in the grass fields today and I will be out bangin this weekend. So far we have shot 4 basins and 4 cacklers.

Nice job!!! there is definatley a new wave of migrators that came through last week for us up here so they probbaly just made it down to you guys. While scouting I found a field with around 700 geese in it cacklers, regular honkers, and lessers but the farmer doesn't allow hunting.

No kiddin Rob, I think we're putting in over 15 pits on our farms this year. Had Curt Wilson up to help with our Sportsman's Warehouse Waterfowl Weekend. We put a shovel and a screw gun in his hand and put him to work. But as you can see by the results, it was well worth it. Here's a pic of one of our 7 man pits we just finished up, notice the rows we created over the pit.

Alex,
That pit looks like a death trap, I expect to see some hero shots over it!
