What ratio do you think your fullbody field mallards should be at when it comes to feeding/active. Right now we got 5.5 dozen and 24 of them are feeding and the other 42 are active. It might not be a big deal but just trying to think what i should have more of?
Thanks.

Don't a lot of people use more like 2:1 feeders to actives?

depends on your setup and situation. In general, I would say at least 50/50, but tend to go with more feeders. Watch and learn from the birds when you are scouting when possible. They will tell you what to do!

I have my spread of 15 dozen right at 60:40 Feeders to actives and then I am getting a few dozen sleepers to add a little more of a relaxed look.
