What is the best way to hide a ground blind in the sand? Thanks

Use a paint roller and paint the blind flat tan and while the blind is still wet with paint, throw dirt over the paint!

I have found that digging in and running strips of tape through the stubble straps does work. I know you must be thinking "what does tape do for you" but hear me out. I took duct tape and put it through the stubble straps with the sticky side up. What this did was help the tape stay in place by sticking to the stubble strap while the remainder of the tape could be dusted with sand. Its tough to get every inch of the blind dusted but it will help you blend in with the beach.

Good luck,

I would use a power hunter or ground force and dig down a couple inches.

I concure with both fellow staffers above, getting as low as you can, and re-painting, camoing, etc can be the key to your blending in !

Yeah, I should have mentioned first and formost - USE A POWERHUNTER if you can... They are much lower in profile and if you dig down a couple inches, they're GONE:eek:

Digging in is the way to go when you're using those kind of blinds on sand.

Those birds will never have any idea.

As Chris said, dig them down as best you can. Use a khaki ground blind(I personally use a Finisher) or wrap any other camo one with plain burlap.
