Went out with the father-in-law on thanksgiving day and we got 14 ducks and 1 goose by 830.

thanks guys for the kind words. yea i love hunting swans there a blast.I love watching them lock there big o wings up and put there big black feet out.I hope you get to hunt one and bag one there fun. I would tell every one that has a chance to hunt them do it.you will be hooked.

YES those baldplates are and there funa s heck to shoot. they decoys great.Yea it was a fun three day hunt trip I just wish i could have made it out for the fourth day.Ran out of shells. Im looking forward to next year for a four shure four days maybe even five.

Utah.thanks guys. There ant to many state you can kill swan in. Im not shure but I think there only three states that hunts them. UTAH,NORTH CAR AND SOUTH CAR. but I could be wrong.there a fun bird to hunt.

Yea I live in utah. in the salt lake city area. thanks guys we had a great time. Im hoping next year we can have more tags with us and have a little better weather. we are all ready plan on are next year hunt if we can get tags or find some people with tags to take them out. I have taken my swan that i got a not last year but teh year befor to get mounted. here a pic of him he is the biggest one i have shot. but the one i got this year has a bigger yellow patch.

cool i live in utah too and i killed my first swan last year its a blast when you decoy them huge things but mine wasnt that good looking my dad shot one two years ago that he got mounted and it had a huge yellow patch on it but them look like some great hunts we have been knocking them dead on the great salt lake this year so far 192 ducks and one goose no swan this year we forgot to put in but maybe we will see you in the marsh sometime once again great looking hunts

where about do you live ? Are you hunting the great salt lake ? We have killed 84 ducks in 8 trips and one goose and that swan. We have had a soem great hunts this year. couple of them only lasted a hour or so.

i live in magna but yeah we hunt the acccually lake alll we kill are teal and shoveler but its real fun we set up in between the marina and the saltare we went out today and killed 2 limits again mostly teal today in the snow it was fun

thats cool. I use to hunt out there a couple years ago intell the put the fence up. there a x friend of mine that been hunting out there this year. im not shure where he hunting but he says he walks a long ways.pm sent at you to.

there is no fence up down there but yeah we kill a lot of birds we hope to get out soon again we killed a few yesterday in the snow but the ducks didnt want to decoy to us they just landed further down on the beach so i hope we can start getting them to decoy next time
