hey guys, new to the site, wanted to see if anyone has tips on hunting big lakes. We have been able to decoy divers all morning but only a few puddlers at first light, it seems the mallards, gaddies, etc, prefer to raft up in the deep water 300 yrds out. I love to see the divers work the spread but it would be nice to bag some greenheads also.

I dunno about ya'll , I might rather have greenies for the table, however I had my first redhead for breakfast this morning, not too bad.

Cripple Cutter has it right. Screw the green, it's all about the black and white!

I must confess that I like hunting divers as much as like hunting anything else on planet Earth. Consequently I don't get to do it as often as I'd like to.

As far as tablefare goes... Let's eat our Woodies.
