Well we had a good hunt yesterday morning we ended up with 7 mallards 1 gadwall, and 1 blackjack. It was warm foggy and wet, but we stuck it out untill noon. we got set up about an hour before daylight, and sat in the baot and catnapped untill a few minutes before shooting time. Then we walked to our set up about 30 yards away. We shot 2 mallards and a blackjack early, bu we weren't able to get much of anthing else to work until the gray duck came in about 8:00 am. So we moved to were we saw the majority of the duck going down and then our luck turned around. Man there ain't nothin better than to luck up and see little balack dots locked up way out there and sailing all the way in. We had one group of 3 pintails but we couldn't get them into the hole. It was fun to watch ducks all day. We finished up our hunt by picking up the spread and eating some sandwiches and chips my good buddy Eric had made up for us before we left that morning. Then we headed to the boat ramp.
