 New to the forums.. LONG time lurker :)

Im gettin ready to go on a guided hunt with my father for his birthday the first week of January out on Reelfoot in west TN. Anyone hunted Reelfoot know what hunting around there is like? :)

Long time waterfowler in the northwest, but moved down to TN about 5 years ago for a job, and just now getting back into the swing of things..

Hope everyones had a good year so far :D

From what I have heard there are alot of ducks on the lake and the blinds that have always produced are still harvesting good numbers.Maybe this next weather front will bring in new birds as the weather just north is setting up for a good push of new birds.

I hunt West Tn. Lots of ducks in the area right now. The refuges around Reelfoot are holding tens of thousands of ducks. I believe the Long Point Unit is holding the most. Reports of guys hammering the local geese around South Fulton. The Obion River bottoms near Union City are flooding. I here Lauderdale County is the place to be tho. Lots of snows have moved into the area, mostly near Hickman KY.
