I want to touch up my GHG duck decoys. How do I get some of the same paint that Avery uses? Do they sell a kit?
I'm not complaining. I love the dekes, I'm just anal about keeping them looking good and think that it's a waste to buy new when $20 of paint will make 5 dozen look brand new.

As of right now we do not sell our paint, but I would just get krylon paint for plastic. Most hardware stores carry it and a good number of colors as well.
I am sure other will have some good suggestions as well.

I would look for a kit from Parker Coatings. It has all the different colors in one little box.

Thanks for the info, Rick. I have never heard of that and have people ask me about touch up kits.

Koondog,
Go to any art supply store, and get a paint Called Liquitex-you want the "matt" finish... it sprays through an airbrush excellent, and i used it to hand paint 4 doz shells i bought to use as late season fillers for geese. They have all the colors for ducks and geese. Dont forget to get some kind of sealer for the paint, and put it on very lightly. Hope that helps. If you need anything let me know.

Robert,
Thanks. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Can you recommend an airbrush?
thanks,
Ted

Ted,
The Pasche air brush with one size bigger needle than stock will work perfectly. The paint holds up pretty well, and different areas of the decoys get diff wear from year to year... I spend late spring and early summer touching up, until im ready to go again.
If you need anything else let me know.

Any chance we can get you to post some before and after photos?
Thanks,
