I have seen pictures of the 5/8 snow & blue goose shells and they look really good. I was wondering if there are any plans to introduce a 5/8 Canada decoy?? Those would be sweet in either the pro-grade or FFD... Any feedback would be appreciated!

Anybody else have a comment on whether or not they would like this addition? I think it would be wonderful, just like the mallard shells were to the mallard fb...:D

I had said it several times that if you guys made a 5/8 lesser shell it would be a monster seller, propbally the best seller of any decoy that you have out. I know several guys and myself who would load there whole trailer up with them. I have heard quite a few other people say they would buy them also everytime this subject is brought up. Please make a canada(lesser or honker) 5/8 shell, it would be the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! guideman!!!

I will second, third, and fourth the request for a Canada 5/8 shell in the pro-grade paint scheme and I'll second the request for them in lessers as well.

Since our ground here does not freeze anymore and we have to pack in or use quads.....I would trade my full spread for 5/8 pro-grade shells....please make them!

I think there is a good possibility but as others have stated, nothing for sure yet.

This may be a late introduction this year. We will find out more as we push forward.

I know of atleast 3 people that would sell their FB spreads and switch to a 5/8 Canada shell spread.

5/8 canadian shell would be great. ive seen the snows and they are a good looking shell (fullbody). since we are talking about what we want a goose butt feeder would also be nice for next year.

You know, all this talk of buying huge amounts of these has me thinking, do you all realize how long it will take to set these all on motion stakes? I can't imagine doing 20-30 dozen of them. I would personally have FB's before 5/8 shells. I could see adding one or two dozen, especially if an FFD version were offered, but a whole rig?

Making a 5/8 honker shell would be great, but using the universal motion stake is not a good idea. 5/8 Snows and Blues shells with the universal motion stakes spin 360 degrees when there is wind. NO GOOD. Also, to have one style of stake with FBs and 5/8 shells would aid in a much faster setup and breakdown of a decoy spread.
I know Avery is trying to keep costs down, but I as an avid waterfowler goes, money isn't everything.
I wish the Snows and Blues shells came with the Real Motion Kit factory installed. I would buy 18 dozen right now!!!
If avery is going to do it, Do it right. Insist on REAL MOTION STAKES!!!

The Real motion stakes would be a huge advantage to these decoys.

wth? they spin 360 with no wind? have you used these yet? they don't spin in 30 mph wind ffs. the whole deal behind not having the real motion stake is you can pull the heads off and stack them. and what is the big deal with having to use a different bucket for the ums instead of the field stakes? i have 20 dozen of them i am putting around my blinds. and trust me if these things spun i would NOT have bought 20 dozen.

A Canada or Lesser shell shaped like the mallard shells would be very nice as you can't even tell the mallard shell is a shell from above when compared to a fullbody.
They would allow guys to increase their spread size and be easy to carry in when muddy conditions keep trucks off the field. I just purchased some Lesser FB' just because of that reason when compared to the regular honker decoy. The lessers will be alot easier to carry in.

I agree with the real motion stake would be better, but then you lose the stackability of the shell. Still could prolly get 2 dekes in each slot of a bag but if you had , say 20 dozen, thats gonna take some bags and space.

I will say I would prolly get a dozen of the honkers if they were out there. to fill in around blinds.

IMO they would be more logical down in TX because of the frozen ground everywhere else (yes a few of you may have the muddy fields all year :)) I don't want to set out 6-10 dz. decoys and have to drill holes for all of them. I've done it once for snow rags and would never do it again. Now if they came out with a UMS that was a ring like the FB stands ;) you could put me down for a few!
