I have 6 FFD feeders, a harvester pack of FFD lessers, and my friend who hunts with me has 6 FFD lesser feeders, and a dozen pro grade shells. I am picking up 6 FFD honker actives next week and maybe some more FFD feeders and actives from my friends cousins house. I was either thinking lookers or FFD shells.

Both good ideas for sure. I'd probably have to lean towards adding the lookers 1st considering there are currently none in the spread.

Kile,
I would suggest one 4 pack of lookers FFD, and then continue to add to your spread with FFD lesser Harvester packs. We are still only running 1 4 pack of lookers per 100 decoys and it seems to be working very nicely.
Lookers, than Harvester FFD lesser packs. BTW, the lessers fit very nicely into the 12 slot Mallard Full body bag.
Good Luck !

Kile I would have to agree and say go with the lookers...I have six and I love them. How was your season this year?

It was pretty good....We shot a few geese but nothing major (somewhere around 20 or something) but I did manage a band offf of one...we also did really well onn the ducks...alot of mixed bags this season. I think we ended up shooting 7 or 8 different species all season.

I will buck the trend and say shells, but then again I like to have numbers at times. Even when I go out solo I will put out 6-7 dozen decoys. I do think that the shells will give you alot more variety in terms of looks---some sleepers and resters are often a good thing.

A few lookers for sure, then For late season when its cold I would go with the FFD shells and add sleeper heads.FFD Sleeper shells on the edge of ice or in snow are the real deal.just my 2
