I currently have a 5x10 Enclosed trailer. During the season I kept all 100 of my GHG FB Geese in 6-slot bags. Although they kept my decoys clean and well protected (like they were supposed to) I found that I was loosing a lot of space. My new idea is to build 2 shelves at the front of the trailer. One for my FB Mallards and the other for my O/S shells. I don't want to sell the bags, as they are a life saver when it comes to walking decoys into a field that is to wet to drive into. So what I was thinking is install a cargo net on one side of the trailer and stuff all the bags inside the cargo net. That way when I want the bags they are still easy to get to. I plan to just stack the decoys in a big pile, as I feel that their durability can handle it. My blinds will lay on the floor at the front of the trailer.
Opinions are much appreciated

For what its worth...
I just sold a trailer that I'd built shelves in for my full bodies with footbases. I had two shelves hanging from the ceiling and one secured to the drivers side of the trailer.
The trailer I'm going to buy will have no shelves except 1 in the v-nose for misc items (flags, batteries, blind bags etc). I plan on hanging bags from both sides of the trailer either two or 3 high.
In my opinion the organization is as important as the space issue. That said, you have a slightly smaller trailer than I and more decoys so the opposite it probably true for you.
I supposed something else that would make a difference is if you're running motion decoys or footbases...

About 50/50 on motion and footbases. I plan on installing the 2 shel\/es at the front of the trailer as well.

I agree with, Gude. I think that the loss of space out is a small price to pay for the organization and protection. It does not sound like you lost much space if you had that many decoys in the trailer.
