duck and goose field spread

We do not get to hunt ducks in a dry cornfield very often in Central Ky. a friend of mine has found a field that the ducks and geese are using. We are going to hunt it tomorrow because of the forecast for snow. What kind of advice would you all give to a rookie about placing decoys and anything else that might come to mind.

If you've got a mojo, use it, but only for the ducks, the geese normally wont finish to a mojo, but the ducks will finish right on top of it..

make sure you cover your blinds well, face your decoys into the wind, i would set your blind back about 5 yards from the dekes just so the birds focus on your spread and not on you, btw, these are some tips ive gotten from other guys on here
