Last Day, Finally a Band!

Last saturday was our final hunt for the season, River was frozen over in spots and we had to push ice to get to open water along the shore, close enough to set up the boat blind and get our spread out. Birds were moving as a storm front was approaching with heavy snow. Aside from some cold weather malfunctions, snow on the dekes and temps in the single digits we had a great day. 5 geese(should've been more abarring the frozen firing pin malfunctions) and 9 ducks. Limits on Redheads and a special prize from the last Redhead was a nice Band from Alberta! Hope everyone had a good productive season, already planning on next year!
