There are a few potholes and lakes but nothing like most parts of the state, I have been through the area a few times but I cannot say that I have hunted down there. I would guess that you could pull a few goose hunts both early and late, but I wouldnt throw any money down on ducks in that area. Get ready to put some scoutin miles on and good luck.

Ethan,
There is some good hunting around that area. When i grew up around that area we ussually went aournd the Murray and Nobles county line between Wilmont and Iona. Also Talcot lake east of Fulda. There is a refuge there and there's always ducks and gesse hanging around that area. There some state blinds that you can access there, but not much public ground to hunt! Let me know if you need to know anything else.
