Typically how many bands do you get a year?

I average about 2-3 per year...(here in Texas)

Also, CA limit 7 mallard/day?

Ours is 5 per day...

That looks like a VERY fine season. Congrats. I have been threatening to head to CA for a long time but never have gotten in done.

you are correct on California getting to shoot 7 Mallards. The 7 Mallard limit is nice but I wouldn't mind at all if it was only 5.

On a typical year I will shoot 3 to 5 bands here in California. This year I shot 4 GreenHeads and 1 Snow Goose. Usually most of the bands I get down here are not from California though. Most of them come from Canada.

On a good Canada trip our group will come back with 1 to 3 bands a piece for four guys on a six day trip. Our best year was 12 in five days. I love that place.
