i was having troubles at first to, but then it just hit me one day and i could do it since. Before i was saying "tikka tikka tik" and could only get a few notes, i couldn't go fast but my buddy could do a nice feeder. So i listened to him and i noticed he was putting more voice into it, so i tried dug ga dugga dug dug duggaaa" and i could do it since. Try so say dugga as fast as you can but in the deepest voice and tuck your chin into your neck. I cant really explain it to good, but hope that helps. Let us know if you get it

I was having the same problem so I started practiceing without the call. While I am driving down the road and sitting at home and am doing the ticka ticka ticka diga diga diga duga duga duga. It really helped me.

I am with james on this one...pratices it with out the call....it creates muscle memory. On the the cd "The Breakthrough 2" by kelly powers. he breaks it all down pick it up for sure, it's mostly goose call stuff but has alot about air control and how to get the most out of every breath.....hope this helps and practice, practice, practice

The "feed call" that many people blow into a call may sound snice but is not what ducks really sound like. They are a much less consistant pattern. Get a primos shaker call. Sounds much more like a real duck.

I use diga diga diga. And that seems to work well.

Tick-it, Tick-it, Tick-it. Vary speed and air flow volume. You can practice without the call just using the words too. Once you get your tongue trained to annunciate Tick-it, Tick-it, Tick-it clearly you are on your way.
I completely agree with MuskyHunter, to use this particular call effectively you have to really vary the volume and sound.
While out goose hunting a couple weekends ago, me and 'Gus' had an opportunity to listen to a bunch of Mallards & Greys chatter away while resting on some sheet water in the woods behind us. Find a place where the birds gather and listen. The 'Feeding Chuckle' as it was called in my day is deadly in tight! Good luck!:)
