Hey Guys,
I was thinking of getting some more shells soon. I have been very happy with the Pro-Grades I got now, but have been thinking about moving to the FFD's. I currently stack three or four shells together and put the stacks in a six slot full body bag. That way I can get two dozen or so in a bag and still move them around (although their heavy).
My question is, how durable is the FFD shells when you stack them together? Do the bottom edges of the shells wear the flocking down as you stack the decoys? I love the FFD fullbodies I have but dont want to lose the ability to stack my shells. What do you guys think?
Thanks for the help/suggestions,
Neil

I have never used the FFD shells, but I suppose you could put one of those fullbody bags in between each shell to prevent the flocking from coming off. If I were you though I would be more concerned about the paint and flocking coming off the back of the decoy oppose to the edges since you are going to stack them.

We have 3 dozen FFD shells and we stack them. They are very durable and we have never had a problem with the flocking wearing.

They wear well. What is hard on the flocking is the constant friction. Stacking them is not a big deal. One of the guys I hunt with puts plastic inbetween his and they don't look any different than mine.

The FFDs shells you see are 2 years old. I stack them last next to the blinds. They hold up great.
