I have a suggestion and i am a little bit disappointed that avery has decided to go with the 18" USM rather than the 24" USM for the T&T shells. you are putting the 23" or 24" stakes in the fb 6 packs nowwhy go with the 18" on the T&T shells? my whole idea of buying the shells was 1-convenience of stacking them but my number 2 was the way they helped cover the blinds up. the 24" USM is the ticket here. please make that change?! other than that i am very happy with them!

I also would support that move. I had problems with the 18 inch stakes not getting the shells up high enough when I hunted rice fields and had problems with the rice straw inhibiting the movement of the shells. Also when I hunted the NWR I hunted, the stakes were just too short to get the shells over the prairie grass. Another 6inch long stakes would would have been perfect.

if im not mistaken it would be hard to get them into the box of decoys.

Thanks for the valuable input. It's stuff like this that helps us look at things to decide when and if changes need to be made.

Not to mention the stubble in the field. You are pushing that stake into the ground at least 3 inches to just get it to stay up. Not to mention that 7-8" goes inside the decoys. After that your looking at 7-8" ground clearance. Tall wheat or corn they dont quite get the visibility needed with snows and you might as well take away the advantage of movement.

I would like to see 30 inch stakes made available for both shells and fullbodies.
