over the last couple of weeks i have been getting the itch to shoot some snows and basically am jonesin' to hunt :p my son's know this so to make it better they decided to put "gone for the season" on the big screen tonight...fast forwarding right to the T&T part...while i was on the treadmill with the surround sound going....damn i didn't get my workout done because i had to watch it lol...anyone else going through this? hopefully i can start whacking some snows shortly!!

I was already in withdrawals at sundown the last day of dark goose,Im also looking to try my hand at some snows as well.

Weatherby, I know its hard(as I wipe a small tear from my eye), I cant stand looking at all the geese around and not being able to shoot them:D. I would say go fishing or something but you and I both know thats not going to help:(. Maybe you could try going and shooting some crows or some pidgeons...................I know its not the same, but...........its better than watching a bunch of geese land into one of your fields that they wouldnt touch when they were in season:mad::rolleyes:. I am in the same boat as you. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US:D :D :D
You've only got a couple weeks, if that, to wait Weatherby! Just remember that waiting on the birds to get to your area while the guys to the south are shooting them, is much easier than seeing the last of the roost migrate north and knowing you have 6 months before you see them in canada again! Good luck on your opening spring hunt, hope you have a good spring!
I was able to spill the first blood of the spring this weekend, hope they stick around for a couple weeks!
