Just wondering if the pro grade lessers will fit in the 12 slot duck decoy bag? The bag has dimensions of 7"x7". I think I read somewhere that they will, but just wanted to make sure before I go out and buy. Thanks in advance for the help.

They will, but are very tight, I would personally go with the 6 slot lesser bags, hopefully Avery will have a 12 slot out soon.

They'll fit as long as they are all feeders though it is a little tight getting the last couple in. The snows however will not fit they are just a hair bigger than the lessers!

I can possibly get pics in the next few days. You might be able to get 1 or 2 in them but it is going to be VERY TIGHT. It does take a little effort to get the last 2 or 3 in but I am going to get 12 slots for all the feeders!

I wouldn't do it...wait until someone post some pics and you can decide for yourself.

I would not do it. They are very tight in there and I would not want to worry about any extra wear from something that you can avoid.

Agreed and I would like to see a nylon cover on them also! I am going to hang my bags from the side of my trailer or stack them on top of the pile so they don't get all muddy!

It isn't worth fighting to get them in the bag. The first couple go in pretty easy, but as the bag fills up; they get very hard to put in.
Thanks,

they fit in there but the rubbing on the neck and heads takes the flocking off of them pretty quickly.

Ankle socks my friend ;)
I would much rather have the decoys held in there tighter than loose because then they won't slide into other slots....thats JMO of course but it'll save you $40 and the dekes aren't THAT HARD to put in.

IMO, the mid size bag works excellent. Otherwise a 6 slot honker bag with the 12 lessers belly to belly works too. By far the easiest method is to buy the bags that fit properly. (mid size snow/speck)

Wouldn't that cause more wear than a 12 slot bag? ;)
Just for clarification it is the 12 slot F.B. duck decoy bag with the 8x8" slots....sorry I misread that.

I agree, it is simply another alternative to the problem. Personally, I would put them in a mid size 6 slot bag.

It would fit but i wouldnt suggest it because it's gonna be a TIGHT fit. What ive always done with FB lessers is buy a 12 slot full sized bag, and double my decoys in each slot after i black socked the heads and put each decoy in a indiv. bag. Double baggin the dec takes the life of the paint that extra step farther. Happy hunting!

Here you go. I've posted these before. I took them about this time last year with some brand new progrades a duck bag. I did not have any feeders at the time to test, just actives. I've had comments that I packed them wrong, that I don't know. All I know is that they were too tight for me. I went with 6 slot lesser bags and couldn't be happier. I now have 4 dozen FFD's and a few pros in these bags and love the set up.
Here you go, you decide if you like the duck bags with lessers or not.

They actually fit better if you turn the heads the long way with the bag. You just cant put all actives in the bag. Put feeders in the corners & then alternate feeders & actives. We have 25 dozen lessers bagged this way ! And it works well. A bag w/ just a little bit bigger slots would be nice , but it needs to stay a 12 slot !

I have carried my FFD Lessers in the 12 slot bags this entire season. I have one decoy that the flocking is coming off, but that was my fault. I don't believe that you will have much to worry about with the Pro Grade Lessers. The decoys will fit tight. I put a half dozen of actives and feeders in each bag and I can easily carry in the two bags, gun and shell bag in one trip. It makes it a lot easier to carry them in if you have to go a long ways.
