But it was all worth it. Two of us laid out in the decoys lastnight and had one goose come close enough to shoot. Happened to be this little guy!!! I
Let the guy I was with take 1st shot and he hit it in the back end, so I had to hammer em'. My first collar ever.

Very well done. What region does the black collar come from? I have 3 orange collars which mean Mississippi flyway banded in Canada.

Some small hunts pay off with large rewards. It would have been very tough to decoy that goose if you were just sitting on your couch. Nice work.

If the collar is what I think it is, AYZ. It shows that it was banded in 2004 in the Banks Island in Northwest Territories.
