Sticky in the pawn shop

How about a sticky in the pawn shop for members to post good or bad comments about transactions with other board members. This will help determine who is a trustworthy seller and more importantly, who is NOT. With all the selling that goes on there, this would be a very nice tool to have access to.

Great idea. The pawn shop was added to help you guys. It gets a bad name when someone takes advantage of things and doesn't do what they say they are going to do.

That is a great idea. That way it will give the seller and the buyer both more of a since of security. And the cons will not get away with there little games so often.

It is a good idea.......How many guys on here have bought stuff from someone and got a bad deal??

Until we do get a sticky on that maybe you should post up here and let everybody know about it anyway. If it's in the open it is less likely to happen again?

Good idea. I have never had a problem myself here or anywhere else really, but I am very careful about what I buy and from whom.

How about that sticky?? Nothing worse than a guy that says hes gonna sell you something and then he backs out at the last min because someone else offered him some more money!! Thats pretty low in my book!!!!

Over the years I bet I've had 40 deal for calls or hunting stuff, never a problem. Maybe I'm just lucky. Good idea, it might help some guys out.

I definitely think that it would be helpful in determining whether or not you want to deal with a guy.

I will say that the system isn't too bad as it is. If a guy gets burned, he'll typically submit a negative post on the dude and the bad news travels fast. I've read that guys were either going to call the local cops or send a 'pipe swinging' mob to the guys house. As long as that threat is out there, the likelihood of getting burned is decreased.

It does require a bit of trust in making a transaction. I've only had one go bad so far. I am more afraid of doing deals on other forums. I guess I like to believe that most outdoor folks are trustworthy.
Bottomline, if everyone treated others as they would like to be treated, there would be a helluva lot less problems in the world.

Okay, speech is over. If a sticky means that less good guys get burned, GET R DUN.

i think its a great idea. i've had one deal go bad on a money maker and it caused alot of problems. the rest of my deals were awesome. but theres always a chance of it happening again.
