Can 1 dozen feeder duck shells and 1 dozen active shells fit in a 6 slot fullbody duck bag or do I need to get a 12 slot bag?

You can get 3 feeders per slot easy. I couldn't get 3 actives per slot, only 2. I would say get the 12 slot and you can use the extra holes for other gear.

Go with the 12-slot.

I also can get 2 to 3 feeder mallard shells in each slot on either a 12 or 6 slot bag. Dont have any GHG active shells so I dont know how they fit.
I would lean towards the 12 slot which will allow alittle extra room for your decoys and also more room to get more decoys and other gear in the bag.
I have a mixture of 48 fullbodies/shells from mostly GHG but with one doz. G&H in there and I have all the decoys in a 6-slot bag and 12-slot bag. Makes it very easy to get em into the field.

I agree with the guys here. I would go with the 12 slot. You will have some extra room, but it will be worth it.
