Anyone ever use these? I got three last week and all three have cracked and broke in half from throwing them on frozen ground. No other bumper has done that. Any suggestions on getting my money back or am I SOL.

Yeah just give customer service a call. I love my hexabumpers, the only problem I had was leaving it out for the dog to chew on.

Hunter 52, could you get us some photos of them broke in half? I'm curious to see where they are breaking when throwing them on frozen ground. I've used mine all winter in snow and had no problem. I've even thrown a couple accidentally in the street and still none have cracked in half. Just post them up so we can see what's going on. Thanks.

I use mine year round and the ground couldn't get much harder than it is now, with no problems. One got left inside a kennel on the other hand and did not fair as well to the puppy, but I have never seen them crack.

I have thrown several differnt Avery Hexa-Numpers during the past two seasons and I have never heard of this problem at all. Is there a chance that you can post some photos of the broken bumpers?

Hunter- how close to Milbank are you? If you are remotely close, I could meet you there and would exchange yours for some of mine. I am about an hour and a half from there....

I just wanted to let you guys know you arent the only ones that have had trouble with hexa bumers breaking. I bought
3 of them 6 days ago and used them 2 days (about 10 throws per bumper per day). On the first day, this one cracked.

Then on the second day, this one broke right in half!

Now Nelli is sad!

I sent an email to customer service so hopefully they take care of me. I've had several bumpers for over 3 years that
have been used and abused and are like new.....these were 2 days old and cost twice as much!

hmm i see the one that did break is the 3 inch one. i have the 2 inch for my pup and no problems. i leave it out in the snow, rain, etc throw it as high as i can and never an issue, and we all no the damage those puppy teeth can do. CS will take care of you because they stand behind thier products and i dont think this is a recurring problem.

MUELLER>>>.

I had 2 that broke the exact same spot as the last pic. Right above the loop for the rope. I wonder if it is an issue of a stress point of where that comes up and sort of changes diemensons right there and because it has rigid corners with the hex, that the old style of bumpers don't have. I hope that made sense... Still the best bumper made and the best for teaching proper holding styles for the dogs.
