I posted this in the Photography Forum and than realized I might get more help putting this in the Duck Hunting forum.
I am considered a new waterfowl hunter with only a couple of seasons under my belt. Next season I am going to get some GHG coot decoys to mix in with my GHG wigeon, pintail and mallard for confidence. I am looking for some pictures of coots mixed with ducks to see how they mix together and was hoping some of you can post them if you have them please. I know wigeon will be right next to coots but I want to see how other species of duck mix with coots.
PS. GHG makes some great decoys! I love mixing some swimmers with FBs.

Are mallards and pintail as "friendly" to the coots as wigeon?

Gadwall and wigeon mix heavily with coots around here. I see mallards, pintail, green-wings and shovelers mix with them some. Coots also mix with divers as well. Usually see it more with bluebills the most, then ringnecks and canvasback. Rarely see buffleheads and goldeneye with them.

Those pictures were taken on a WMA. The ducks were feeding on flooded corn that was deep in the water. The coots and ringnecks were diving down and coming up with the ears. The other ducks were then trying to steal from them. Wood ducks love corn!

Widgeon aren't called "robbers" for nothing.
Ducks will such in a flock of coots sitting on the water almost everytime. They can be damn near impossible to compete against.
