Hey I was wondering where you can find some cheap cases of shotgun shells online at.
Last year we ordered some from Final Flight Outfitters, but I don't see that they are selling any on their website.
I am looking for Winchester Xpert BB's or 2's.

Wal Mart stocks Xpert's and at the right time, you can find them 30-40% off.

Cabelas in Rogers, MN has Remington 2 3/4 inch 2's and BBB's for I beleive $60 a case, you might be able to get them to ship to you. I have'nt seen this price on their web site so it may be in-store only.

I doubt that we will ever see "cheap" prices on any ammo from the looks of things. Every once in a while you might catch a store that is dumping its ammo at good prices. I've found good prices before at Walmart but they generally don't have much, the length or size that I am looking for.

Last year I bought cases of PMC from a local store for $60/case. I bought up as much as I could afford!

I'm with most of the other opinions. You just won't find too many "good" deals when it comes to shells. The ingredients are just too expensive. Even reloading doesn't offer you that much of a discount. Unless you are loading your own "special" shells (and avoiding the game warden), you won't find a price break by reloading. I got some Xpert 3 1/2" number 2s for $140 for the case. Mom and pop gun shops are the places to go in my neck of the woods. They will have stuff that has been sitting around on shelves for some time, and they are happy to get rid of them. My .02.

You all better stock up now,I heard that on July 1st there is going to another major price increase on all forms of ammo, around 30% to 40% increase across the board.I stocked up pretty well before last years increase ,but have also been shoring up the stockpile when I find any local, internet deals.

I have found pretty good prices through www.rodgerssportinggoods.com

Wal-Mart is your best bet for those shells. Take the opportunity to cut one of them open. You'll see that you aren't getting good BB's. They are oblong and don't fly very straight.

ammo companies dont distribute their highest quality stuff through walmart. walmart sets the price, and many times, the only way ammo companies can make any money off of the wholesale purchase is to run a production lot of lower quality stuff to offset the cost. dont shoot the messenger if im wrong in this regard, but i was told this by an engineer at ATK. (parent company of federal cartridge)

i do buy a lot of ammo at walmart (mostly lead shot for trap and plinking). only time i noticed any difference was that the winchester AA trap loads from walmart shot much dirtier than AA's i bought at the range. just something to consider.

on another note, ive started to shoot the estate line of steel shot. runs a little dirty, but the hardware stores i frequent tend to mark the stuff 30-40% off during the off season. that and any federal hhv or win. dryloks i can find on sale!
