I was wondering if I could get you guy's advice on a choke tube. I am shooting a browning gold. And wanting to get another choke. I was shooting my dads light mod for half the year, but kinda want something a little tighter. What do you guys think about the improved mod? Do they pattern pretty good?
Thanks,
Nick

The thing with steel is, is that the tighter your choke-the more holes you will get in your pattern unless the choke is specifically designed for steel shot. To tell you the truth, I shoot an IC-M and I have killed waterfowl accurately at out to 45yds. Brileys are great chokes, but I would say that I wouldn't go any tighter than an LM.

Briley has many chokes. You're probably interested in the decoying birds chokes? Read the packages of all the chokes. They will tell you what the chokes do and the application they are best suited for.

I have used the Briley light modified for 5 years now and absolutely love it with anything that is BB or smaller. I use that same LM for anything from Honkers to Doves. Many of my friends use this choke also, and I have yet to hear one complaint. It is one of the best waterfowl related purchases I have made. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your input every one, Honkerhammer when I was using one for doves last year I was just dusting every one and one I pretty well shot all the feathers off of it!
