View Full Version : Fixed Keel Decoys

Looks like the fixed keel dekes are hitting the store shelfs. Made a stop at the local Gander Mountain and noticed they'd gotten in some of the new decoys. Looked at one and it was a fixed keel decoy. Even though Gander is a little high on their prices I got 2 1/2 dozen GWT, 1/2 gadwall BWT, and 1/2 dozen gadwall. I'm gonna Krylon 1311 the s*** outta them to try to protect the paint and buy a slotted bag. Still got more duck and goose decoys I wanna get before the season starts as well. Will post pics in a little bit.

My mom is gonna shot me when she finds out I'm buying all these decoys. Promised the last two years that I was done buying dekes, but I just can't help myself. I need help. :D

That's why I went ahead and paid a little extra for them at Gander Mountain so that why I could hide them. If I decide to get the puddler pack I'm gonna have to order it regardless cause they don't have any of those nor do they have any pintail at the store I went to.
