So we still got a couple months til our teal season arrives here im missouri but I have been thinking about this. I hunt a public marsh for teal season and there's usually quite a few other groups out on opening day. I put out 3 or 4 dozen teal decoys and I was thinking about putting out a baby mojo this year. Doe's anyone think having a mallard mojo would cause me any problems for teal season?

If that is legal in your state under the circumstances, It won't hurt your chance at teal.

Using a mature mallard mojo proved to be the difference on our public hunting around here in central kansas, didnt matter how much or how little or how bad the calling was, those teal were looking for that "flash" from the mojo

we always use our mojo when teal huntin. they love it. come right to it just like a mallard. they see that movement and come right in.

It doesn't matter what size Mojo you use for teal. Teal, especially early season teal, aren't the smartest birds that fly. We've used everything from the big Mojo Mallard drake to a Mojo Dove. Doesn't matter, just have a few dekes, a Mojo, and get ready.

Teal decoys are hard to make stand out, and there are alot of places for teal to land.
We get to smack a few around these parts occasionally.

Use goose floaters, I can't keep the teal out of my goose decoys when they come by. They don't even give the duck decoys a chance.
I run air lucky ducks, and the air lucky dove, they do their job.
Teal are my favorite duck to shoot, and last year I got on a couple great teal shoots. Just a fantastic bird to watch and shoot.
