Are ducks ever banded with neck collars? I have never seen a picture of one so i'm expecting no but you never know... If they do, pictures would be great:D

no they dont..... but they do have bill bands, not sure if they still do...

If they do I have not seen one or heard of it currently. I think there were some wood ducks in the 70's that they collard for monitoring breeding pairs and nest rates but that's all I have ever heard of. There are a however few with, web tags, Tarsus, and radio transmitters. And Yes there are still putting a few bill bands on. I know they do with Scaup for sure.
