Well, my 2008 hunting is off to a great start. We had an excellent trip in New Zealand. Managed to harvest almost all the trophies we were after. Here are a few of the pics.

Also got our Paradise Ducks. Can't wait to see them in the trophy room.

Jeremy, not sure if you have something specific in mind, but Ill post a couple in my latest goose thread, there are plenty of others on my previous threads feel free to have a look.

Ruger, you had a carve up, well done. Did you get the Fallow Douglas Scored by chance. I've seen a couple of crackers that were shot this year, and yours is up there. Those Reds are mad as too. Awsome.

Breda, I have not had the Fallow scored yet. He was the 2nd biggest Fallow I saw. We saw a bigger one first thing on the first day and I passed on him. Never saw him again the rest of the week and I saw this fellow with 5 hours left in the hunt. We went in for lunch and at lunch I decided I'd better go have a look at this guy again, since I couldn't find the bigger one. I'm very happy with this Fallow.

The stags rough scoured 296, 343, and 313 respectively.

I'm probably most proud of the Tahr. He certainly isn't a trophy by book standards. However Breda can confirm that a Tahr taken while hunting on foot is truely a trophy! That was a challenging and rewarding hunt.

Ruger I haven't hunted Thar yet, but plan to in the near future. I am a firm believer that the hunt makes the trophy.

I am so pleased your trip down here went so well.
