With all the suggestions of tan or brown to paint and/or mud our blinds. I thought I'm most likely going to be hunting a green field or pasture so I did some experimenting with Chief's Ground Force dog blind.

Bird's eye view. Still will add KW but I thought it was a good base coat.

Funny... I just painted "Jake's" dog blind green about an hour ago. Everything is going to be green for early goose so I figured I can always repaint later.

Scott,
I had the same idea, I think it looks real good. I will probably go ahead with my idea now. Thanks for the pics.

I did some burlap green for a buddy who'll be hunting with me. I just couldn't bring myself to put green on my brand new ground force... i guess it really wouldn't hurt it. could always mud over it.

Or repaint it. This is the first time I painted a blind, all the mud from last year was gone from old blinds so I just tried it on the new ones. Much easier, cleaner and will last longer.
I'll probably be adding some darker green after scouting yesterday and of course some KillerWeed.

Is that green spray painted on a mudded blind?

Spray painted with tan underneath then the green was added for character.

Scott,
I like the idea a lot. You can always repaint it with another color if you have to.
Thanks,
