a soft brush to brush the dirt of but other than that who cleans their decoys i mean its not like geese take showers all the time. but i have not had any problems with them getting wet.

Has this been confirmed via third party case studies?

When my FFDs got wet, be it from rain, or from snow melt, or whatever. I put them in the bags, then just left the tops open, by the time I used them next they were fine.
Never had any flocking or anything wear off. I don't clean mine, if I see some dirt on them I just wipe my hand across it and call it good.

I actually like the way the FFDs look when they get wet. They seem to get darker. As far as cleaning them goes, a soft bristle brush works well with a little water.

I've heard a few people say that they look really bad when they're in the rain or covered in frost. Seems kind of counterintuitive as they're supposed to be the decoys that look great no matter what, but is there any truth to that? Does the rain or frost have any adverse effects in regards to the looks of the decoys in the fields?

I love the way they look in rain, as stated before they get a little darker and look sharp.
They can get frost to build up on them, I have never had this be a problem though, I stand up and look out over the spread, and the FFDs still look better then the pro grades, or other decoys with frost on them.
They do their job, and do it well. Keep them looking nice and they will keep you killing geese.

I hunted mine once this year when it was freezing raining. It was a b!*^& that day....I just took them out of the bags when we got home and let them thaw out in the shed. It still took flocking off from putting them in their bags but I kinda expected that.
