After only two trips in my truck, my FFDs have no paint on the very tip of the tails. It's not a big problem, but I want to figure out a way to prevent it from getting worse. I thought about laying the 6-slot bags on the padded side instead of packing them so they're standing straight up. However, they take up so much more room like that and in a truck with a 6' bed, space is really limited. Would laying an old blanket or two down in the bed help out much or is some paint wear on the tails of decoys just something that comes along with having to stack them? Thanks guys.
