Was the SW Waterfowl Weekend in Ankeny Iowa a success?

SW held Waterfowl Weekend in Ankeny Iowa Sat and Sun. I stopped by for a bit to check things out and to say hello to a couple of guys.

Seemed to me like the traffic in the store was pretty light for a big advertised event. What people were there seemed to zero in on the Avery stuff though.

I have no idea of numbers for traffic or sales but would you guys call the thing a success?

I bought about 800.00 bucks worth of stuff I really didn't need but oh well!

It was great meeting you Jeff, and a bunch of the other guys that are on this forum frequently. It did seem to be a bit slow, but the store hit and surpassed it's goals. The store manager Dave Nitzel and Tyler and Cody from corporate SW seem to feel that it was a success as well. We had plenty of product there and we got the customers into the gear they needed so all is good.

When you got schmucks like me spending almost a grand on stuff that was needed I bet they did meet the goals! LOL
