Anybody modify the mesh screen on Power Hunter ?

I got the Power Hunter and last season I had some challenges with the mesh screen. I know it is designed to "see through" but I had a devil of a time trying to keep up with ducks and those crazy flying alutians. Has anyone modified the mesh screen ? I'm thinking of "opening it up" somehow. I don't want to take a scissor to the thing... Ideas ? Thanks, Specter

the one thing i did that helped a lot was taking black paint and covering the INSIDE of the mesh, it made visibility a lot better. I am not sure if that is enough for you but it helped me......

I had the same problem...i took the scissors and cut a 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch hole in each side and it really helped me out. Has not affected the performance of the blind at all.

For geese at a distance, I look under the lid. As they approach, I can pick them up fairly easily by looking through the mesh.

For me it was plenty. No unravalling at all!

The mesh is woven pretty tight. If you are worried about unraveling, singe the edges with a lighter.
