Does anyone shoot a patternmaster short range? If so what do you think of it? What factory pattern would you most closely compare it to

All of patternmaters chokes are great chokes. I love their pattern, they shoot well out of my SBE2. It is hard to compare to any other choke. It all really depends on shot size...

i shoot mine for geese at all ranges. we probably average 25-30 yard shots and it does the job without tearing them up.

What about beyond that range? Say out to 45ish yards. How does it hold up?

I also use a short range for both ducks and geese. I just change the shell/load combination for the situation at hand.
