I was just curious how everyone did this spring or your thoughts of the TnT Snow and Blue shells? Has any one run a spread of just 5/8 shells or a spread mostly consisting on the 5/8 Shell? Did the birds react any differently than a spread of all fullbodies or a spread of 2/3 fullbodies and 1/3 TnT shells? I really wondering how the TnT shells did solo without adding any fullbodies?

The last 3-4 springs we use around 150-200 fullbodies and 50 floaters, out of the last 4 seasons we've only decoyed 2 groups of 500 or bigger. We do decent on the small groups but know i need to get the numbers up to start getting bigger groups. This season i added 500 sillosocks/deadlies (my mobile spread when i'm alone or with just another guy) and started to bring the big groups down but couldn't bring them down all the way. We were right in line with a flight path and underneath the birds, we would get one big group to start working down but had 5-10 other big groups fly directly by and those birds would pull the birds working down to us back to them on their flight path to a small refuge 8 miles away! Our hide was great, i didn't think i had they e-caller too loud ethier.

I guess i'm looking adding some TnT shells to add #'s since they cost a lot less and take up a lot less room. I have a good deal on some used ones that haven't hardly been used. I guess i'm just wondering your thoughts, thanks for the input!

I added 20 dz to my sillo sock spread last year, first hunt I used them, we put geese on the ground in the decoys 14 times that morning. Excellent decoy...
