Guys Im going to a different place to duck hunt this weekend. Normally this isn't an issue however I left my deeks where I hunted opener thinking I would be back this weekend.
We'll be hunting some swamp fingers of a main lake, there are three bigger pools I would say are 30-40 yards across. I want to set up in the middle pool. The ducks usually funnel to the all the pools with the two outside pools being more popular with the ducks.
We will be using his deeks this weekend witch leads to my question. He has a limited supply of hardware, The only thing I will contribute is a MOJO. He has 2 dozen Mallards, A dozen Pintail, More drakes then hens, and half dozen Teal, and 5 random old ass decoys.( Im not sure what the are)
I need some Ideas on how to set these up, how to cluster these types of deeks together. Will I need something for confidence? I need all the help I can get. Its a long drive and I dont want it to be a crap shoot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Adam

If the birds come in like that daily, I would toss 6 dekes at the most and make yourself small.

The way I'd run that set up is spread your decoys out but leave enough room in the hole for the birds to land. Go ahead and mix the different species together and set your mojo right in your kill hole where you want them to land. Good Luck and let me know how it goes.
