hey just curious how everyone freezes their duck/goose breasts? Do you freeze them in a bag with a bunch of water in i? I usually just clean them and eat them that day or the next but want to freeze some this year for jerky or sausage.

Invest in a vaccum sealer. It's well worth the money and it keeps the meat fresher and it has a longer shelf life then regular freezer bags.

I just throw them in a ziplock bag and squeeze the bag to get most of the air out, this way they wont get freezer burn after sitting in the freezer for a while. I highly reccomend a game saver though.

alrighty, ill vaccum seal the next ones for the freezer. I put some in the freezer last week and also two today in a ziploc bag and filled it with some water to cover the breasts. Would that be worse than without water?

I vaccum seal all my duck and goose breasts now for multiple reasons. They thaw out quicker, there's no need to add water to the bag when you vaccum seal them which in turn saves space in the freezer and a important thing I learned with Hurricanes Ike and Rita is that things that are vaccumed sealed don't leak and let water and blood run all over the floor.
