Alright, given all available game laws and game hunting in many states. i wanta know what state would you choose to live the remainder of your days in based on all that state has to offer. i'm sure i'll miss a few good states. so, give an argument for your state. now, we're looking for states have the best opportunities this includes GAME LAWS.

What about some of the other great waterfowl states like MD? I lived in MD, and now I'm back in PA. Both great hunting states. I did vote for Montana though because of the diversity of big game.

I would stay here in Washington we have our 107 day season,7 ducks a day, and 4 geese and a huge diversity of species.

I voted for SD, because I actually answered this question about 3 years ago and decided to move to the place I feel would be the best place to live and hunt.

It does get colder than a witch's tit out sometimes though...

i think out of those choices i would pick Montana or Wyoming. not really sure which but i would probably lean to Montana.

i chose it becaue it has a lot of variety. there are some elk, sheep lots of ducks/geese, mule deer (which to be honest i dont really have a desire to hunt) and BIG whitetails along with many many more that i dont feel like listing.

not to metnion is it a gorgeous place from pictures i've seen and i've always wanted to live somewhere that had a lot of mountains and animals and that was secluded from everything else. kinda like Jeremiah Johnson! which is maybe my favorite movie of all time.

Also i hate the heat.

Chestertown Md. would be my vote, my aunt lives there and I go down to hunt a few times a year. Beautiful area, rich in waterfowling tradition.

i wouldn't put all 50 states. i just picked some that popped off the top of my head. i hope everyone is taking into account games laws etc. not just how many birds are showing up for a given location. I chose texas b/c our laws are very hunter friendly and i can hunt just about every game species in the state. given the state is huge. some state's seasons are just weird.

i'm prolly wrong but isn't wisconsin or minnesota have a weird deer season. it lasts like two weeks or something. stuff like that doesn't attract me. granted i might have picked louisiana b/c i grew up there till i came to college but not a lot of options for different species. big game, upland (none of that pen raised b.s.) real wild birds.

I would say the Show-me State, Tons of Ducks, all kinds of Geese, Monster Whitetails, Big Ol' Gobblers, in the NW Pheasants. Relatively easy to get onto land.

ND because it doesnt have the pressure and hard time to get on land like SD
