great hunt you guys had!! i went out 3 days to a pond i scout for 2 weeks before the ct opener and it was full of ducks mallards& blacks and widgens.opening day i got skunked first time in like 10 yrs what the fudge:confused: well went out yesterday got one black duck still i seen a bunch befor the 15th opener in ct.and today friday the 17th got skunked..i blame it on the full moon and the ebb tide i heard geese flying over my house last night at 1:30 am you tell me what the f happend to the dumb early season birds?
