It was a great day on the marsh today. We still have not had the push of big of mallards yet, but there is alot of new birds since the cold front. Shot a couple nice Trophies, and even scored a nice Bull Can.

a few days ago I had a bull can land in my decks, but couldent shoot it because the cans are closed this year in MN, but good job on the birds

Seeing a can like that makes me wonder how could the USFWS screw up so bad and take away cans for us this year. I know next week on the river they will be all we see. No place in the USA has more staging cans than pool 9.

thats a nice pile o widgens and we arnt allowed to shoot cans this year so yall is pretty lucky if you can

I was under the impression that no one could kill canvasbacks this year, You still can in Kansas:confused:

WOW thos are some real trophy ducks! I've always wanted to shoot a nice drake wigeon but we don't see too many in Virginia.

hunters choice in the central flyway i believe, 1 hen mallard, 1 pintail, or 1 canvasback, or somethin like that
