Jeez Mark, you are on a poll frenzy. I love my Winchester Xtreme 3" 1 1/4 2's. For both ducks and geese, does the job just fine!

100 % Fiocchi all the time!
For ducks 3 inch #2 or 3, and for greaters 3.5 inch #BB loads. Getting ready to test out their Golden Waterfowl loads which look promising

I get hevi-shot on a discount.. so 3 1/2 6s for 20 bucks is a steal!;)

Guys we just got back from a trip where we tested the new Fiocchi Golden Waterfowl shotgun shells. Let me tell you these are some deadly shells. They are heavy loads but pretty fast at 1400fps, and they hit HARD!!! I am very impressed!

For ducks I like to shoot Kent Fasteel 3 1/2 in 3's and for geese I started to shoot Black Cloud 3 1/2 BB's and they are the real deal.

I usually shoot the cheapest stuff I can find. Preferrably 3" or 3 1/2" BB's for ducks and geese!!
Greenhead Smacker
03-27-2009, 02:22 PM
Steel!
That other stuff is too expensive...and when you have the ducks hanging over the decoys at 15 yards, it really doesn't matter.

I just switched to kent this past season and they seemed to produce good results but i saw that hevi-shot is coming out with a new waterfowl load. It is supposedly going to replace hevi-steel completely. It is called hevi-metal and is leaning towards a black cloud type of shell( two different pellets in the pattern)

I shoot almost all winchester supreme steel, i shoot BB 3 inch for geese and number 2 or 4s for ducks. When i shoot 3 1/2 " i shoot the same loads but most of the time i just shoot 3", when i can afford it i will shoot heavy shot but to much to use all the time.

I shoot 3" 1 1/4 oz steel BB's and 1's for geese and 2's and 3's for ducks. They do the job for me since all of our shots are in the under 30 yard range.
