Tyler took us out to a new spot he had scouted Sat. night and found a bunch of mallards. So back N. we headed Sunday morning. We had a ton of mallards on us for the most part of the morning but some missed shots and missed opportunitys caused us to come up a little short. Found out it was a lofing pond and the afternoon hunt would have been better.

But we still killed 18 mallards and got some awesome footage. So it was diffently worth it.

That was a good hunt, for the guys in the pic. I was stuck behind the camera all morning long. But, I did "shoot" more ducks than they did.
One fun weekend, we killed 60 ducks in two days.

Looks like you guys are getting after them. I have my first chance to get out for the season coming up this weekend. I hope everybody is Deer hunting so I can have all the ducks to myself.

Thats the top of the jerk cord. We angled it so the ducks didn't see a piece of steel sticking out of the water.
