hunted a flooded bean field in MN a little while ago...it was INSANE...first off, i have never heard of a farmer letting people hunt standing beans before they were harvested but the ducks were just eating the field to nothing...with 15,000-20,000 ducks constantly coming and going we got many good shoots...the 3/4 mile walk and thick mud did not hinder us from what we witnessed....you would hit a spot in the field and almost pass out from the stench of duck poop...for sure a once in a blue-moon situation....lots of rain=lots of ducks....:D
the spread that did it all...

me on the right completely caked with mud from retreiving birds...
