Zink Calls

What is your favorite zink duck call to blow and why? I am looking to get a new call and was just curious on your guys's opinions

2 calls will remain on my lanyard, the XR-2 and the Double Mag. I love the sound of the XR-2 and the double mag has great range and capabilities, easy to blow too.
If your just looking, get to a shop or store where they'll let you try them out. Find the one that fits you best and matches your calling style. You may find that the PH2 or PH1 are better suited to your calling style.
I prefer the double reeds as I can get a better "Duck" sound as opposed to a single reed, I have a tendency to get too high pitched with them.

Dead serious. I have blown a poly Power Clucker goose call that belonged to another guide that works for me. I've never held a Zink duck call to my lips.

I have an xr-2 that sounds great. It is a hard call to get used to, but once you do, none sound better. Try one.

My favorite Zink duck call is the PH-2. The PH-2 is very user friendly and takes very little air to operate. I also like the new Double Mag. It has a great sound, easy to operate, and has more volume then my PH-2.

XR2 is my favorite of the duck calls, once you get it its easy to operate and the ducks like it.

No doubt the Zink PH-2. Easy to blow and as ducky as it gets. Its my go to call every day in the blind.

I run a Double Mag the majority of the time, it quickly became my primary call. Very, very ducky from start to finish.

I agree with Joe, my original XR-2 and the Double magnum are hard to beat. I'm really happy with my LM-1 on the goose side.

I like them all to be honest. they are all good for different situations like the ph-2 is good for windless days and when you do not need to be real loud, also it sounds exactly like a duck. Second i like the double mag from my experience trying it and the xr-2 out on the same day they are pretty much the same except that the double mag is easier to blow than the xr-2. also i love love love my ph-1 i have been able to work ducks with that call better than any other single reed i have ever owned it is easy to blow and even though it is a single reed it still sounds like a duck. also i like the open water for when i am hunting out on the river it is my go to call for hunting the river

I like the PHOW but the ducks like the PH-2 more, guess which one I use?
