Take'Em!

Some of the best shoots come from tiny, little drainage ditches in the middle of agricultural fields like the one below. Although the water is down a bit in this particular spot, it has often held hundreds, even thousands of mallards in one tight, little hole for weeks at a time. Like the saying says; "Big things come in small packages".

We've been experimenting with a new camera trying to learn how to use it and what it's capable of. Here's a series of pics taken at one of the "small packages" mentioned above. Probably not the greatest pictures in the world, but we're learning as we go and thought these were kinda cool.

David you know I always look forward to hunting this spot ,and will almost put anything to the way side to hunt it . Let's hope it get's a little bit more water in it to keep 'em in there so we can do it again .Once again great hunt and a great time .
