Curious as to what is the best ALL around choke tube for waterfowl ? I am shooting the good old 870 and love it but will some day I will buy my auto just not ready to give up my 870, anyway I was looking to buy a kick's but my buddy says I'm crazy for not buying a pattenmaster !!! He also says I should buy it in full thats the best ALL around choke tube, a full Patternmaster !! Well any help would be great thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

correct me if im wrong but patternmaster have no constriction that i know of. they use studs within the choketube to "retard" the wad therefor allow the shot to fly freely with out any constriction keeping patterns even with out blowing them out. it also claims to shorten the shot string. i personally use a .675 terror it does its job very well.

I shoot a long range patternmaster and love it. I won't shoot anything else and I shoot it for everything from doves to geese. Patternmaster doesn't have a "full" choke. They come in various configurations but the two most popular for waterfowl hunters seems to be the longe range and the extended range. Both are great tubes I have friends that shoot the extended range and they will never give it up as well.

use the modified that came with it
